About YouS Sufi – How a Kid from Morocco Painted His Way Across Continents
About YouS
YouS is an artist whose journey into oil painting was sparked by a simple puzzle—and a profound vision. A lifelong doodler and creative, YouS spent years sketching for friends and diving into puzzles. It wasn’t until he completed a Van Gogh Sunflowers puzzle that a vision struck—an imagined extension of the artwork appeared in his mind.
That vision returned the next day, and then again at an underground trance party, where YouS experienced a vivid, full-color image of what his first oil painting could be. The next day, with no experience, he walked into an art store and bought his first canvas. With the guidance of a kind assistant and a belief in possibility, he began painting.
Two months later, the first piece was complete—and a new chapter began. From that moment forward, oil painting became more than a medium. It became a calling.
Every work YouS creates is infused with emotion, memory, and a sense of divine alignment—guided by music, trance, and the raw honesty of self-expression. His message is simple and powerful:
“Don’t be afraid to fail. Be afraid of all the chances you miss when you don’t even try.”
