A Dream Wrought in Metal, Light, and Canvas

Dubbed the YouStudio by friends and fellow artists, this is my dream workspace realized—a carefully crafted sanctuary where art lives, breathes, and transforms.

A Space Designed for Art (and Artists)

The studio is divided into four distinct rooms, each lined with 6cm (2.5in) thick metal bars running along the walls. From these sturdy frames, chains and hooks suspend paintings in mid-air—floating, shifting, and always in perfect harmony with the space.

Curtains, Light, and the Art of Focus

Every artwork is draped in soft off-white curtains, veiling them until the moment they’re revealed. This simple trick keeps distractions at bay, letting me—and visitors—focus solely on the piece at hand.

Above, bare halogen lamps dangle from slender electrical wires, casting a warm, gallery-perfect glow on each painting. It’s raw. It’s intentional. It’s exactly how art should be seen.

A Modular Playground for Paintings

The system is brilliantly flexible:

One monumental centerpiece? Done.

A trio of mid-sized works? Easy.

A constellation of small studies? Absolutely.

This adaptability doesn’t just showcase art—it honors where each piece was born. Every painting hangs in its ideal spot, the same place it came to life under my hands.
